I think I need a hobby!

I really think I need a hobby! Andy thinks I am crazy for buying all the stuff I do with coupons. What he doesn't understand is everything I am getting is free or almost free. We are counseled to keep a years supply on hand in case of emergencies by the church. This is the excuse I am using, even though I find it fun. I have decided I am going to make up gift baskets for my nieces and nephews ( they are teenagers) for Birthdays and Christmas stocking stuffer.

This poor blog has turned into my shopping deals, and less about my rantings. ( I know Kelly is happy for that!!) CVS was having a sale today on Herbal Essence Shampoo so I made a short trek over there just for that. I will do my serious shopping later in the week.

I made two Identical transactions as follows

2- Herbal essences shampoo @ $2.49 each
1- Right guard extreme deodorant @ $2.99
1- Soft n dry pulse deodorant @ $2.99

my total was $12.26
I used
2-$2.00 off coupons on the Shampoo
1-$1.00 off coupon on deodorant
1-.75 cent coupon of deodorant
1-$2.00 CVS coupon
1-$3.00 ECB
I paid .51!!!
and I got back $6.00 in ECB for my next transactions
So total out of pocket was $1.02 and I got back $12 in ECB for the day, not to shabby *wink*

I made another trip ( I couldn't help myself *blushing*) because they had the fingernail polish on sale tonight and I made money off of it.
