Thrifty

I have been introduced to COUPONS!! I know that sounds weird, but it all makes sense.
There are tons of websites out there to help you get started and organized. And let me tell you, it takes alot to organize me. My friend Kacey has been kind and is trying to educate me on the programs and such out there to save money.

It takes an intial investment, for me today it was 2 liquid chidrens advils $5.79 each, with extra care bucks. Extra care bucks are like instant rebates you can use right away. The advil had $5.79 ECB which actually made them free.
Todays haul

2-Children's Advil $5.79 each
2-Dawn dish soaps .88 each
2- Pert plus sampoos B1G1F $3.99 each ( buy 1get 1 free made them $2.00
2- colgate maxfresh burst 2.99each
2- colgate extra clean 2.99 each
2- creast 2.99 each
1- cvs toothbrush 1.99

Total before tax $37.27
after coupons and ECB it cost me $15.00
plus I have an additional $ 8.79 in ECB to spend on my next transactions.
which in actuality it cost me $6.21( the first advil purhase). Which isn't to bad for my first visit and learning experience. Most of the pro's would of gotten out cheaper but they wouldn't let me run the advil together because it was a limit of one, but I did manage to get it. Next time I will be smarter and get off cheaper.

I went to Walgreen just to check it out and I bought the
glade oil candles

3-glade candles at $2.99
on sale for $1.99 and a $1.00 rebate(online)
I also had $3.00 worth of coupons so after the rebates they are FREE!

Here are pics of my coupon book and todays haul, next weeks will be better since I think today was a learning experiece *wink*
